Hood River New School is a sixth-through-eighth-grade 501(c)(3) nonprofit independent school that embraces interdisciplinary learning in a multi-age classroom. The New School serves 48 students from Oregon and Washington and employs 13 dedicated teachers and staff members. New School was founded in 2021 by a community of parents and educators excited to create a school that honors the critical growth and development window that occurs during adolescence — the transition between childhood and adulthood.
